Woman hit to death by speeding bike

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) A woman died after bbeing hit by a speeding motorcycle on road in Musafir Khana area of the district.

According to the rescue staff of the Punjab Emergency Service, a woman along with her son was traveling on a motorcycle to visit relatives when another speeding motorcycle coming from behind hit them and fled the scene.

“The woman sustained a severe head injury, due to which she died on the spot, while the son remained safe,” they said, adding that soon after receiving information, rescue staff arrived at the scene and checked the woman’s vital signs, which were absent. “CPR was performed, but she could not be revived,” they concluded.

The family refused to shift the dead body to the hospital, and it was moved to their house. The victim was identified as Malka Bibi. She was resident of Basti Faiz Abad, Musafir Khana, Bahawalpur.
