Woman killed, 10 injured as jeep plunges into ravine in Swat

SWAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) A woman was killed and ten others were injured when a jeep plunged into a deep ravine in the Khwazakhela area of Swat on Thursday, according to police sources quoted by tv channels.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred after the jeep, reportedly being driven at high speed, lost control and fell into a ravine near Khwazakhela.

A woman died at the scene, while ten other people sustained

injuries.

Rescue team rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the incident and shifted the deceased and the injured to a nearby hospital.

Police also reached the scene and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
