Woman suffers burn injuries in acid attack

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) A woman received critical burn wounds as an unknown accused threw acid on her

in Kachi Wah, Sama Satta area of the district.

According to Rescue 1122, the woman was sleeping in her home in Kachi Wah, Sama Satta, when

the accused entered the house and threw acid on her before fleeing.

As a result, the woman sustained burn injuries. The Rescue 1122 shifted the victim to Bahawal Victoria

Hospital who was identified as 25-year-old Asia.

The police initiated investigation into the incident.
