The event was graced by Provincial Minister for Women Development Shaheena Sheer Ali as the Chief Guest, while Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad and Chairman Cable Operators Association Khalid Arain attended as Guests of Honor.

Addressing the ceremony, Shaheena Sheer Ali said that women are the backbone of any progressive society. She highlighted the Government of Sindh’s commitment to empowering women, safeguarding their rights, and ensuring equal opportunities. She also appreciated the initiative, noting that such platforms play a vital role in acknowledging and encouraging women’s achievements.

Renowned industrialist and social leader Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said that Pakistani women are excelling in every sector, and such awards serve as recognition of their dedication and capabilities. He emphasized that economic empowerment of women is crucial for sustainable national development.

Chairman Consumers Association of Pakistan Kaukab Iqbal and Acting Chairperson Women Wing Marium Hina stated that the purpose of the event was to honor outstanding women from across the country for their exceptional contributions.

Awards were presented in multiple categories including leadership, social services, education, health, media, business, and arts. Key awards included the Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah Madar-e-Millat Women Leadership Award, Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Women Service Award, and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Women Excellence Award.

The ceremony was hosted by renowned anchor Agha Sherazi and attended by several prominent personalities including MPA Syed Shariq Jamal, DIG Shoukat Ali, Asif Moosa, along with a large number of dignitaries, social leaders, government representatives, and media personnel.

Speakers on the occasion reiterated the importance of women’s rights, equality, and empowerment, reaffirming their commitment to promoting the positive role of women in society.
