Women University wins gold medal at national boxing championship

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Government College Women University, Faisalabad (GCWUF) student has won gold

medal in national boxing championship-2026 held in Hyderabad.

The student Ms Hifza Naveed from the Department of Health & Physical education

secured a gold medal at the event.

Representing Punjab, she competed in the under-60 kg weight category and under-22 age group, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination at the national level.

This victory marks her fourth gold medal overall and her first at a national championship.
