Workers’ remittance inflows increased by 8.5 percent to US$33.859 billion during the first ten months of fiscal year 2025–26, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Monday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Workers’ remittance inflows increased by 8.5 percent to US$33.859 billion during the first ten months of fiscal year 2025–26, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Monday.
The country received inflows of US$33.859 billion during July–April 2025–26, compared to US$31.207 billion during the same period of FY2024–25, reflecting growth of 8.5 percent.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>On a year-on-year basis, workers’ remittances rose by 11.4 percent in April 2026 to US$3.538 billion, up from US$3.176 billion in April 2025.
However, on a month-on-month basis, workers’ remittances declined by 7.6 percent in April 2026 compared to US$3.831 billion recorded in March 2026.
Remittance inflows during April 2026 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia (US$841.7 million), the United Arab Emirates (US$734.7 million), the United Kingdom (US$563.7 million), and the United States (US$317.6 million).
