Workshop held at Police Headquarters to improve public dealing of police officers

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) On the special directives of Inspector General of Police, IGP Punjab Abdul Kareem, a training workshop was held at Police Headquarters to bring a positive change in the behavior of police officers and to improve service delivery to the public.

SP Security Asghar Ali Goraya, along with DSP Legal, DSP Admin and DSP Headquarters, delivered lectures during the workshop.

Officers and personnel from across the district participated in the workshop, including members of the Elite Force, traffic staff, Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) and lady police officers.

The purpose of the workshop was to improve the conduct of police officials and strengthen their moral and professional training.

Officers were instructed to treat citizens visiting police stations with respect, dignity and politeness.

Participants were also directed to ensure the protection of citizens’ dignity, self-respect and basic rights in all circumstances. Special emphasis was placed on treating women, elderly citizens and children with care and addressing their issues on a priority basis while ensuring justice.

Speakers highlighted that good behavior, patience and respect for the public should be the true identity of the police. They said public trust can only be strengthened through civilized and professional conduct.
