WSSP announces special package for commercial water users’ registration

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) In light of the approval of the board of Directors, Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) management has announced a special package for registration of unregistered commercial water users and provision of new connections.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, under the special package, fee for new connections has been waived, while illegal connections are also being registered free of charge.

This package is for only one month, which will be completed in two phases. The first phase of the package has been launched, in which commercial connections are being provided free of charge until May 20 and illegal connections are being registered free of charge.

The second phase will be implemented in June.

Teams have been formed for registration and provision of new connections, which are going to markets to register.

Contacts are also being made with trade organizations so that maximum illegal connections can be registered and new connections can be provided.

Instructions have been issued to zonal offices to operate quickly and efficiently for registration and new connections.

An awareness campaign is also being run to attract traders to register and obtain free connections.
