Youm-e-Takbeer serves as a day to renew nation's commitment to unity, courage, self-reliance: Chairman MQM-P

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Chairman Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui stated in his message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer that May 28 symbolizes Pakistan's defense, sovereignty, and national dignity, while Youm-e-Takbeer served as a day to renew the nation's commitment to unity, courage, and self-reliance.

On this day, by becoming a nuclear power, Pakistan made it unequivocally clear to the world that the Pakistani nation possessed the capacity to make any sacrifice to safeguard its security and freedom, said a statement issued here on Thursday.

He further remarked that Pakistan's nuclear capability has demonstrated that the Pakistani nation was fully equipped to confront any challenge.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized that Pakistan's nuclear program ensured national security and maintained the balance of power in the region.

He added that the entire nation paid heartfelt tribute to the scientists, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, and the national leadership of that era who rendered the country's defense invincible.

The Chairman MQM-Pakistan, stated that national unity was indispensable for Pakistan's progress, stability, and sovereignty.

He further asserted that the Pakistan Armed Forces, standing firm like an impregnable wall, possessed the operational capability to completely neutralize any adversary in the future, and that the entire nation stood firmly alongside its armed forces.
