ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Students of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges showcased Pakistan’s rich culture and youthful talent at two prestigious international events held in Türkiye during April 2026, earning global appreciation and bringing pride to the country.
Students from Lahore Dream Garden and Asifa Irfan campuses participated in the International Bread Festival held in Istanbul from April 18 to 25, where delegations from various countries gathered to promote peace, unity, and cultural harmony.
According to a school statement, the students also attended an official protocol visit to the Governor’s House, where they presented souvenirs on behalf of Pakistan and their institution as a gesture of goodwill and friendship.
They further highlighted Pakistan’s culinary heritage by preparing traditional naan bread, which was widely appreciated by international participants and guests.
Meanwhile, students from Chak Shahzad and G-10 campuses represented Pakistan at the 48th International 23rd April Children’s Festival organized by Turkish Radio and Television Corporation in Ankara from April 19 to 24.
At the festival, the students mesmerized audiences with a vibrant cultural performance on the national song “Ae Mere Watan,” reflecting Pakistan’s colours, spirit, and patriotic pride, and receiving warm applause from spectators.
During the celebrations, the young participants also had the honour of meeting Recep Tayyip Erdogan, making the occasion memorable and historic for the students.
The International Children’s Festival is globally recognized for promoting peace, friendship, and cultural exchange among youth from different nations, providing a platform for participants to represent their heritage on an international stage.
