Young writers rally celebrates Marka-e-Haq victory

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Pakistan Writers Wing (PWW) launched celebrations and thanksgiving events in commemoration of last year's victory in “Marka-e-Haq" when Pakistan Armed forces' retribution strikes tore through Indian arrogance, shooting down several of its fighter planes and damaging other military assets.

The writers took out a rally from PWW sub office at Nawan Sheher Chowk, led by prominent religious scholar and member of the District Peace Committee Allama Inayatullah Rehmani, PWW patron Muhammad Ilyas Khan, social activist Shahid Mahmood Ansari, leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan Zahid Maqsood Qureshi and educationist Professor Inayat Qureshi.

Among others present on the occasion were Chairman Pakistan Writers Wing Qari Muhammad Abdullah, President Muhammad Sajid Iqbal Shajra, Senior Vice President Sohaib Iqbal, Vice President Sardar Sajid Khan Chandio, Presidential Award-winning writer Ali Imran Mumtaz and Umair Imtiaz Khan.

Participants chanted slogans in support of the Pakistan Armed Forces and paid tribute to Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the armed forces for their services and sacrifices.

Addressing the participants, the speakers said that members of the literary community stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and acknowledge their role through both collective and individual efforts. They stated that operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” had brought recognition and honor to Pakistan at the international level, adding that the achievement was made possible through the blessings of Allah and the dedicated efforts of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
