Youth kidnapped and killed in South Waziristan

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) A 19-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Dushka area of Makin Tehsil, South Waziristan, local police informed on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Raza Ullah, a resident of Ziar Sar village, Dangarkai.

Police said that initial investigations indicate that the victim had been abducted by unknown individuals two days before his body was found.

However, SHO Hidayat Ullah said there was no registered report with the police prior to the discovery of the body.

Meanwhile, the SHO of Makin confirmed that investigations are underway from multiple angles and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend those responsible for the crime.

Family members of the victim said that Raza Ullah had no personal enmity with anyone and was known as a peaceful young man.

Police officials said that the motive behind the killing is still being investigated and that action is being taken to bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible.
