Zone VI continued their impressive run in the Regional Inter-District Under-19 (Karachi Region) One-Day Cricket League by registering their fourth consecutive victory, while Zone VII and Zone V also recorded convincing wins in matches played at various venues

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Zone VI continued their impressive run in the Regional Inter-District Under-19 (Karachi Region) One-Day Cricket League by registering their fourth consecutive victory, while Zone VII and Zone V also recorded convincing wins in matches played at various venues.

Organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the day's play featured outstanding individual performances, with Talah Irfan Sheikh scoring a brilliant 130, Muhammad Azaan remaining unbeaten on 101, and Majid Ali producing an all-round display by claiming 7 for 24 before smashing an unbeaten 76. Jawad Ahmed also starred with figures of 5 for 12.

At the KCCA Stadium, Zone VI thrashed Zone I by 160 runs. Batting first, Zone VI amassed 302 for 3 in their allotted 50 overs, powered by an unbeaten 101 from Muhammad Azaan, 71 by Abdul Sami and 68 by Huzaifa Ahsan.

In reply, Zone I were bowled out for 142 in 45.

2 overs despite Sahil Nisar's 39. Slow left-arm spinner Jawad Ahmed claimed five wickets for just 12 runs.

At the UBL Sports Complex, Zone VII defeated Zone IV by 81 runs after posting 280 for 4 in 50 overs. Talah Irfan Sheikh led the charge with a magnificent 130, while Ali Sher remained unbeaten on 59.

Zone IV were dismissed for 199 in 48.3 overs. Shamroz Khan starred with the ball, taking 4 for 25, while Riaz Ahmed and Muhammad Humza claimed two wickets each.

At Eid Gah Ground, Korangi, Zone V beat Zone II by six wickets. Zone II were bowled out for 149 in 37.3 overs, with Aliyan Asif scoring 60 and Muhammad Haris contributing 38.

Majid Ali produced a match-winning all-round performance, returning exceptional figures of 7 for 24 before guiding Zone V to 150 for 4 with an unbeaten 76. Rayyan Chauhan remained unbeaten on 47 as the winning side reached the target in 33.1 overs.
