12-year-old killed as crumbling roof collapses in Yar Hussain

SWABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) A tragic incident in Yar Hussain area here on Sunday claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy after the roof of a dilapidated house suddenly caved in, rescue officials said.

The deceased, identified as Ayan, died on the spot, while three women and another child were seriously injured.

The injured child is reported to be around 10 years old, while the women are between 35 and 61 years of age.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the body and injured to Kalu Khan Hospital, where the wounded were under treatment.

According to locals, the structure of the house was already in a fragile condition, which ultimately led to the collapse.
