14 lawbreakers arrested; drugs & weapons recovered in ICT Police operations

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 14 lawbreakers during separate operations carried out in various areas of the federal capital

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 14 lawbreakers during separate operations carried out in various areas of the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that police teams from Aabpara, Kohsar, Tarnol, Sangjani and Khanna police stations apprehended seven accused involved in different criminal activities.

He said police teams also recovered 1,010 gram hashish, 30 bottles of liquor, five pistols and one rifle with ammunition from their possession.

Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are underway.

Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested seven criminals.

Following the special directions of IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to maintain peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
