2 killed, 5 injured in separate accidents in Attock

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Two people were killed and five others, including two women, injured in three separate accidents on Sunday in Attock.

According to rescue sources, in Fatehjang, a teenaged boy was killed after being hit by a passenger train while crossing a level crossing.

The train, Mehar Express, was headed to Multan from Rawalpindi. The body was shifted to THQ hospital.

In another incident, a 17-year-old boy drowned in a mini dam near a saint's tomb in Thatti Gujran. Farhan Qaisar was bathing when he drowned, and his body was later retrieved by rescue 1122.

A speeding car part of a marriage procession crashed into a tree near Lawrencepur-Tarbela Chowk, injuring five, including two women.

The victims, from Peshawar, were treated at THQ Hospital Hazro. Police registered separate cases, launching investigations into the incidents. Rescue teams provided aid to the injured.
