299 outlaws arrested in May

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Police claimed on Monday to have arrested 299 criminals and recovered

narcotics and illegal weapons during the month of May

A police spokesperson said the police apprehended 166 criminals involved

in illicit drug trade and recovered over 4 kg Ice, 32 kg hashish, one kilogram

of heroin, and more than 5,000 liters of liquor.

In a parallel campaign against illegal arms holders, the police arrested 133

accused and shifted them behind bars.

The recovered weapons include six Kalashnikovs, seven rifles, 22 shotguns,

107 pistols, and more than 300 rounds of live ammunition.
