3 teenagers killed in Gujrat roof collapse

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Three children were killed after the roof of a house collapsed in Karyanwala Burwala Mohallah of Gujrat due to heavy rainfall.

According to Rescue 1122, the wooden roof of a room caved in, trapping three children under the debris.

Rescue teams reached the scene, pulled the children from the rubble, and shifted them to a nearby hospital.

However, the children could not survive their injuries and were pronounced dead.

The deceased were identified as Falak Sher, 13, son of Aslam; Ali, 15, son of Aslam; and Iman, 15, daughter of Aslam.

Rescue 1122 urged the public to avoid staying in structurally unsafe buildings during the ongoing monsoon season and to take precautionary measures to prevent such incidents.
