4-member robbers gang arrested in Lahore

Data Darbar police took action and arrested a 4-member gang of active robbers and motorcycle thieves

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Data Darbar police took action and arrested a 4-member gang of active robbers and motorcycle thieves.

According to police, the accused used to steal motorcycles and then commit acts of snatching on the same motorcycle. The accused snatched mobile phones from the Data Darbar area on the third day of Eid.

The arrested accused include ringleader Hassan, Aziz, Afzal and Bilal.

SP City Bilal Ahmed said that the accused could be seen escaping after committing the crime in the CCTV footage. The accused were traced and identified with the help of CCTV footage. Two motorcycles, 5 mobile phones and weapons were recovered from the possession of the accused.

The SP further said that the accused used to commit crimes against citizens together at different places in Lahore.
