40 held for law violations

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Police on Friday arrested 40 criminals, including 24 proclaimed offenders and

recovered drugs and illegal weapons from different locations across the district.

According to police, the operations targeted criminal hideouts, leading to the arrest of 24 proclaimed offenders and eight drug peddlers.

The police seized 502 liters liquor, seven bottles of imported wine and 1990 grams hashish from the suspects.

In a separate action, two illegal weapon holders were apprehended for possessing 30 bore pistols and ammunition.

The arrested outlaws were wanted in multiple cases of dacoity, robbery and theft.

Cases have been registered against the outlaws, police added.
