According to police, the infant, identified as Huzaifa, was allegedly abducted by Ayesha Bibi, wife of Fayyaz, from the hospital's nursery. After taking the child from the facility, the suspect reportedly moved to Ayub Medical Complex, where she changed her appearance and concealed the baby.

Police said the woman later contacted her husband, Fayyaz Ahmed, and other accomplices. The suspects allegedly shifted the infant to Khatwal Gali Banian in a Suzuki Carry vehicle.

Investigators traced the suspects through CCTV footage obtained from various locations. The CCTV surveillance team of Ayub Teaching Hospital played a key role in tracking the movement of the abductors and facilitating the child's recovery.
