HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner City Taluka, Syed Noor Hussain, sealed a petrol pump near Pucca Qila on Thursday following public complaints regarding the sale of low-quality fuel.

Acting on reports of substandard petroleum products, the Assistant Commissioner conducted a surprise inspection at the site.

During the visit, fuel samples were tested against the quality standards established by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

An official spokesperson confirmed that the inspection revealed the fuel was of substandard quality and had allegedly been adulterated. The Assistant Commissioner imposed a fine of Rs30,000 on the pump management for violating regulatory standards.
