AC raids against fake medical practitioner in Hassan Abdal

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (AC) Hassan Abdal Ahsan Ali on Thursday conducted a raid under an ongoing anti-quackery campaign and caught an alleged fake medical practitioner red-handed in the Gharsaheen area near Burhan .

According to officials, the operation was carried out jointly with DDHO Hassan Abdal Dr. Junaid Khanzada and his team at a medical store located on GT Road.

During the raid, the accused was allegedly found illegally treating patients, administering medicines, applying intravenous drips and injecting patients without authorization.

The authorities said a large quantity of medical items was recovered from the premises, including used syringes allegedly being reused on patients, as well as drips and injections.

The assistant commissioner directed the DDHO to initiate legal proceedings against the accused on the spot.

The medical store was sealed, while a case challan was prepared and sent to the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) Lahore for further legal action.
