Accused arrested in daughter honor killings allegations along with accomplices

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) The accused, who murdered his daughter over allegations of honor killings, has been arrested along with his accomplices.

According to police, on April 27, within the jurisdiction of Ghaji Khuhawar police station in Qambar Shahdadkot district, a woman named Naila, wife of Qadeer Ahmed Bhatti, aged 22, was killed in Garhi Makoro village over honor killings accusations, after which the suspects fled. It is worth recalling that a case regarding the incident has been registered at Ghaji Khuhawar police station on behalf of the government against the accused.

Meanwhile, the Qambar Shahdadkot police conducted a search operation in Garhi Khero and surrounding areas to arrest the fugitive suspects involved in the murder case of the Buladi community.

The operation is being carried out under the supervision of SDPO Shahdadkot, Mashooq Ali Keerio, in which SHOs from Shahdadkot and Mir Khan sub-divisions, along with a heavy contingent of police, participated using police mobiles, armored vehicles, and modern equipment.

Police have demolished and burned down the suspects' hideouts. The area has been cordoned off, and a search is underway to arrest the suspects involved in the case. A case against the accused has already been registered at A-Section police station in Shahdadkot, and the suspects remain at large.
