ADCG orders strict action against overpricing, hoarding in Attock

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Anil Saeed Attock chaired a meeting of the District Price Control Magistrates on Friday, where a detailed review was conducted of the performance indicators (KPIs) of the Price Control Magistrates in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

According to APP correspondent, the ADCG stated that providing relief to the public is the top priority of the Government of Punjab, and that further strengthening the price control mechanism is essential in this regard.

He directed that the availability of essential commodities at officially notified prices must be ensured at all costs.

He also emphasized that indiscriminate action should be taken against all violators without exception. During the performance review, officers whose performance was found unsatisfactory were issued warnings, while those demonstrating better performance were instructed to further improve their efforts.

Anil Saeed further stated that regular field inspections must be ensured, and strict action should be taken against overpricing, hoarding, and profiteering so that maximum relief can be provided to the public.

He reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of government policies in all circumstances.
