Agricultural University Dera, Gomal University agree to academic collaboration

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) A delegation of senior academic and administrative officials from Gomal University called on Vice Chancellor of Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Latif Gondal to discuss matters pertaining to the academic collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Gomal University’s Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Naimatullah Babar, Dean Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences Professor Dr. Zahid Awan, Dean Faculty of Sciences Professor Dr. Asma Saeed, Director Tank Campus Dr. Ihsan Danish, and Assistant Professor, Department of English, Dr. Saeqa Sadiq Danish.

During the meeting, both sides discussed in detail the promotion of inter-university collaboration, improvement of academic standards, enhancement of research activities, and provision of better educational facilities for students.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr.

Latif Gondal emphasized that collaboration among higher education institutions played a vital role in the promotion of knowledge and research, adding that merit and transparency remain top priorities at the university.

Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Naimatullah Babar said that institutional collaboration significantly improved teaching and research standards.

Professor Dr. Zahid Awan highlighted the importance of strong governance for institutional development, while Professor Dr. Asma Saeed stressed the need for modern research and innovative teaching practices.

Director Tank Campus Dr. Ihsan Danish noted that efforts are underway to improve campus facilities and provide better guidance to students.

Dr. Saeqa Sadiq Danish remarked that collaboration between institutions created new opportunities for research.
