GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr Syed Atta-ul-Munim, chaired a monthly performance review meeting of vaccinators to assess progress on routine immunisation across the district.
According to official sources, District Health Officer (Preventive Services) Dr Syed Muhammad Aitizaz Ahmed and Deputy District Health Officer Dr Muhammad Usman Naeem attended the meeting, along with district and assistant superintendents of vaccination.
The meeting reviewed in detail union council-wise vaccination coverage of children under two years of age in tehsil Gujrat, online attendance of vaccinators, geographical outreach and dropout status.
The CEO Health listened to issues raised by vaccinators and issued necessary directions for their prompt resolution, while seeking explanations from those showing poor performance.
He emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated in the vaccination of children and directed all concerned to ensure complete coverage.
Later, the CEO Health paid surprise visits to Rural Health Centers Daulat Nagar and Bhaddar, where he inspected staff attendance, availability of medicines and functionality of emergency services. He issued on-the-spot instructions to ensure improved patient care and efficient service delivery.
