Aim of Pakistan Zindabad Rally practical expression of national solidarity with Pak-Army: DC Kalat

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmed Durrani on Monday said that the purpose of the Pakistan Zindabad Rally is a practical expression of national solidarity with the Pakistani army by the people of Balochistan.

He said this while addressing at a rally of Pakistan Zindabad to mark Pakistan Day (March 23 ) which was led by him, Colonel Zarar and SSP Kalat Syed Zahid Hussain Shah.

Earlier, the DC hosted the national flag on Pakistan Day in the premises of DC Complex.

A colorful contingent of the police force saluted the national flag.

The rally was attended by heads of government departments, elders of the city and students of Girls High school Chashma Kalat.

The rally was started from DC Complex and proceeded through Kalat Bazaar and various highways of the city.

Addressing the rally, the Deputy Commissioner said that today is a very important day.

On this day, March 23, 1940, the Pakistan Resolution proved to be the foundation of an independent and sovereign country for Muslims.

He said that on August 14, 1947, an independent and sovereign country, Pakistan, came into being saying that the purpose of the Pakistan Zindabad Rally is a practical expression of national solidarity with the Pakistani army by the people of Balochistan.

The DC said that the day reminds us of the hard work and sacrifices of our martyrs and the love for our Muslim brothers.

He said that we should value our freedom and work together for the development and prosperity of our country and nation.

He said that effective security arrangements were made in the historical city on the occasion of the March 23 celebrations.
