Al-Khidmat Hospital, Dabgari Gardens enhances medical facilities

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) President, Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Waqas inaugurated several modern medical facilities at Al-Khidmat Hospital Dabgari Gardens here on Thursday.

Haji Ghulam Ali Afridi, a well-known social figure from Babri Banda Kohat also accompanied him.

The new facilities include a modern C-Arm imaging machine for operation theaters, CSSD unit, laparoscopy and Liga Shore machine, RO plant (for providing clean water), microbiology laboratory and a modern blood bank. Moreover, with the installation of a fully automated biochemistry analyzer in the laboratory, important medical diagnostic tests will now be possible faster and more accurately than before.

On this occasion, an inauguration ceremony was also held at Al-Khidmat Hospital Dabgari Peshawar to mark the expansion of medical facilities.

The ceremony was attended by Director Al-Khidmat Hospital Dabgari Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Provincial Manager Media Noorul Wahid Jadoon, Director Al-Khidmat Hospital Nishtarabad Dr. Intikhab Alam, Director Diagnostic Center and Blood Bank Dr.

Naveed Sharif, Deputy Director Dr. Abdul Hameed and other officials.

The Director Hospital, while giving a briefing, said that during the last one year, the number of patients benefiting from Al-Khidmat Hospital Dabgari has increased by 100 percent, while the number of those benefiting from diagnostic services has increased by 117 percent.

He further said that under the Patient Welfare Fund, 1132 patients were provided free medical and diagnostic facilities in the last one year.

The hospital has also started clinical hematology services under the supervision of Dr. Salman Arif, which is a unique facility of its kind in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This is the first clinic to be established at the private level where the diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases will be carried out in a modern manner.

He said that Al-Khidmat Hospital is on a mission to provide quality, modern and affordable medical facilities. The installation of modern equipment and increase in facilities will further improve the diagnosis and treatment process and provide better medical services to the patients.
