Albert David extends Eid-ul-Adha greetings, calls for unity and peace

MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Veteran minority leader and former member of the National Commission for Minorities in Pakistan, Albert David, has extended warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah across the world.

In a message released to the media on Thursday, Albert David said Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice, faith, unity and collective well-being. He said the occasion reminds people to place national harmony and shared interests above personal gains while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and compassion.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of the country, he said the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces and the families of martyrs for safeguarding Pakistan’s geographical and ideological frontiers would always be remembered with honour and gratitude.

He expressed hope that Pakistan would continue to emerge as a responsible and credible voice for global peace and harmony, adding that the nation should renew its pledge on Eid-ul-Adha to work collectively for a peaceful, prosperous and united Pakistan.
