Almarah Foundation hosts charity dinner to support orphans, underprivileged

hosted a spectacular charity dinner and musical night here at the Marina Club, bringing together prominent members

of the business community, social leaders, and celebrated artists to raise funds for its welfare initiatives.

The fundraising gala supported the foundation’s nationwide programs, including “Feed the Hungry” and “Parent an Orphan,” aimed at providing shelter, food, healthcare, and education to vulnerable children

.

The event was hosted by Dr. Danish Aman, who emphasized unity and collective responsibility toward social welfare. The star-studded evening was attended by renowned personalities including Humayun Saeed, actor and Goodwill

Ambassador of the foundation; Hamza Ali Abbasi, Brand Ambassador; legendary actress Bushra Ansari; television star

Muneeb Butt; and Chairperson of the foundation, Sophiya Warraich.

A key highlight of the evening was a live charity auction featuring exclusive cricket bats signed by members of the Pakistan national cricket team.

Enthusiastic bidding by Karachi’s elite significantly contributed to the fundraising efforts. The proceeds will directly support the construction of new shelter homes and the provision of daily meals for those in need.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Danish Aman said the overwhelming response reflected the compassion and unity of supporters. “Every contribution tonight brings us closer to realizing our vision of a more just and caring society for thousands of children,” he remarked.

Currently, the Almarah Foundation provides care and shelter to more than 275 orphaned children and serves daily meals to over 1,000 individuals. Through its state-of-the-art shelter homes known as “Apna Ghar,” along with comprehensive health and education programs, the foundation aims to nurture, educate, and empower vulnerable children.

The event was also attended by senior government officials, police and army officers, and other distinguished members of the community.
