LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) MPA Larkana City Jameel Ahmed Soomro, visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto along with party leaders and workers on Thursday reviewed arrangements for the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 4.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Jameel Ahmed Soomro said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto played a key role in making Pakistan a nuclear power, a fact now acknowledged even by his opponents.

He added that Pakistan’s nuclear capability serves as a deterrent, making adversaries wary.

He further stated that Bhutto brought prosperity to the country and continues to be remembered with great respect by the underprivileged segments of society.

He emphasized that Quaid-e-Awam was not only a national leader but also an internationally recognized figure.

According to Soomro, the anniversary will be observed at the district level in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto with great reverence and respect. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other senior party leaders are expected to address the gathering.

Floral wreaths will be laid at the mausoleum, and prayers will be offered to pay tribute to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
