An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday rejected the post-arrest bail applications of three workers of proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in cases pertaining to arson and attacks on police
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday rejected the post-arrest bail applications of three workers of proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in cases pertaining to arson and attacks on police.
The court dismissed the bail pleas of Ahmad Raza, Nasir Mahmood and Mohsin Latif after hearing arguments from both sides.
During the proceedings, the state prosecutor opposed the bail applications, contending that the accused were directly involved in incidents of violence, including arson and assault on police officials.
He further submitted that sufficient evidence existed against the suspects, who had filed their bail petitions.
According to the prosecution, cases have been registered against the accused at Shahdara and Ravi Town police stations. It was also stated that sticks and batons were recovered from the suspects, and they were present at the scene, actively participating in the violent acts.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned the hearing of post-arrest bail applications of other co-accused, including Usman Latif, Abdul Qadir and Samsam Ali, until April 23.
