Auqaf secy visits Data Darbar, reviews progress on expansion project

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Secretary Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta on Monday visited Data Darbar, where he reviewed the ongoing construction projects in detail.

During visit, the construction of the latest dome in the Data Darbar expansion project was formally started.

The Secretary Auqaf inspected various parts of the project and expressed satisfaction over the progress.

Dr. Ehsan Bhutta directed that the construction of the dome be completed in the next two months. He said that this dome will be a beautiful blend of Islamic architecture and modern engineering.

He appreciated the rapid progress in marble and calligraphy work and directed the concerned authorities to ensure timely and quality completion of the project at all costs.
