Man accused of killing uncle, injuring cousin held by Taxila police

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Police on Sunday have arrested a man accused of killing his uncle and injuring his cousin over a property dispute in the jurisdiction of Taxila Police five days ago.

According to a police spokesman, the accused had fled after committing the crime.

However, the police traced and apprehended him by utilising technical and human intelligence resources.

The efforts were under way to arrest the other accomplice, who is also allegedly involved in the incident.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team action and professionalism and said the arrested suspect would be presented in the court with solid evidence. He made it clear that it is prime duty of police to protect lives and properties of people.
