Authorities inspect rain-affected houses in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd May, 2026) In line with the provincial government’s Good Governance Roadmap, district authorities have started assessing damage caused by recent rains in different areas of Abbottabad.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah and Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Afshan Rehman visited Pind Kargo Khan and Chamhad to inspect houses affected by the rainfall.

During the visits, officials collected necessary data on the damages, and the process of entering this information into the online system is underway.

Authorities said the data will help ensure timely relief and compensation for affected residents.

The case has been forwarded to the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) for further action.

District administration officials reaffirmed their commitment to providing transparent and efficient relief to rain-affected residents under the provincial government’s governance framework.
