Balochistan Home Minister chairs high-level security meeting in Quetta

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove chaired a high-level meeting on law and order in Quetta, reviewing the province’s overall security situation and recent incidents of unrest.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqat, senior officials from the Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and other law enforcement agencies.

Officials provided a detailed briefing on the province’s security landscape, including a special update on the ongoing investigation into the Chaman Railway Crossing blast.

During the session, important and effective decisions were taken to strengthen peace and stability across Balochistan. The Home Minister emphasized that protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the government’s foremost priority, and assured that all available resources are being utilized to establish lasting peace in the province.
