Bilawal greets Christian community on Easter

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Apr, 2026) Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended warm greetings to the Christian community on the joyous occasion of Easter, being observed on April 5.

According to the press release issued by the Media Cell Bilawal House, he said Easter reminds us that compassion and faith can heal even the deepest wounds.

He said the PPP’s enduring philosophy is rooted in equality, religious harmony and respect for all faiths, as envisioned in the Constitution of 1973, which guarantees fundamental rights and freedom of belief to every citizen.

Bilawal Bhutto paid tribute to the proud and invaluable contributions of Pakistan’s Christian community, acknowledging their role in the nation’s progress across education, healthcare, public service, and defense.

“On this day, let us renew our pledge to stand united, uphold the values of tolerance and inclusion, and build a Pakistan where diversity is celebrated and every citizen lives with dignity, peace, and equal opportunity,” he added.
