MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) The board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) has announced an extension in examination chances for Intermediate Part-II students.
A BISE spokesperson said on Wednesday that, under a notification issued on May 11, 2026, students who appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination 2024 Part-II and were declared “Failed as a Whole” in their final permitted attempt during the Second Annual Examination 2025 will now be allowed six examination chances instead of four.
The decision also covers candidates who had already exhausted their four examination attempts, he added.
Students intending to avail the additional two chances may submit a written application to the Controller of Examinations for restoration or revision of their last result, the spokesperson maintained.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Candidates planning to appear as private re-appear students in the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026 may submit admission forms with a single fee until May 18, 2026, he stated.
Students who had already submitted admission forms as fresh (combined) private candidates for the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026 may also apply in writing to the Controller of Examinations by May 18, 2026, for issuance of a revised roll number slip after returning the previously issued slip, he noted.
