Bus, truck collision leaves multiple injured in Sheikhupura road

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Multiple passengers including women were critically injured when a speedy truck collided with a bus standing near Sheikhupura road, Gujranwala on Saturday afternoon.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when the driver of the truck lost control over the vehicle due to overspeeding and struck into the passenger bus parked by Sheikhupura roadside and injured many people, local news channel reported.

The police have launched investigations into the fatal accident with the help of the safe city cameras to find out the exact cause of the incident.

Police and rescue officials reached the site after they were being informed and all the injured persons were immediately taken to local hospitals.
