Citizens issues will be resolved at their doorstep: Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, has stated that resolving public problems at the doorstep is the district administration top priority, as he presided over an open court in the Jhangra area of Tehsil Havelian.

The open court saw participation from heads and representatives of various provincial and Federal departments. A large number of local residents presented their grievances, prompting the Deputy Commissioner to issue on-the-spot directives to concerned officials for immediate action.

“Resolving the issues of citizens in urban and rural areas at their doorstep is the district administration top priority, stated Sarmad Saleem Akram.

He added that in line with government directives, the series of open courts will continue across the district to ensure relief reaches people in far-flung areas.

During the proceedings, complaints regarding health, education, public health, communication and works, revenue, and local government were addressed, with officers present responding to citizens queries.
