SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness operation of the Suthra Punjab Agency has continued uninterrupted for the third consecutive day.
CEO Rana Muhammad Abu Bakr remains actively present in the field, personally monitoring the ongoing cleanliness campaign.
A target has been set to remove 2,300 tons of animal waste and offal on the third day of Eid. On the first day of Eid, 5,400 tons of waste and impurities were transported to designated dumping sites, while 4,000 tons were removed and transferred on the second day.
In addition to waste removal throughout the city, road washing and special cleaning operations are also ongoing.

Authorities are also taking action against individuals dumping waste on roads, in drains, and in waterways.
Seven people were fined on the first day of Eid, while 23 individuals were fined on the second day for improper waste disposal violation.
CEO Rana Muhammad Abu Bakr stated that providing citizens with a clean and healthy environment remains the agency’s top priority.
