QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, visited the Trauma Center in Quetta on Sunday to meet the injured victims of the Chaman Phatak bomb blast.
During the visit, Sarfraz Bugti inquired about the condition of the injured, offered prayers and well wishes for their speedy recovery, and met with their families to discuss the medical facilities and overall arrangements being provided.
Secretary Health Balochistan, Mujeeb ur Rehman Panizai, and Trauma Center Managing Director, Dr. Malik Kamran Kasi, briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing treatment and medical arrangements. Sarfraz Bugti directed health officials to ensure the provision of best, immediate, and quality medical facilities to all victims, warning that no negligence or delay in treatment would be tolerated.
He emphasized that the government bears full responsibility for the care of the injured until their complete recovery.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Condemning the cowardly terrorist attack, Bugti said such incidents cannot weaken the nation’s resolve. “The war against terrorism is not only the responsibility of security institutions but of the entire nation every individual and every segment of society,” he added.
Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that Pakistan and Balochistan have made unparalleled sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, and these sacrifices will never go in vain. He stressed that targeting innocent citizens in the name of freedom is part of a foreign agenda, which will be defeated through unity and solidarity.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that with national unity and collective determination, terrorists will be defeated, and the sacrifices made for peace in Balochistan will be remembered in history as a testament to resilience and courage.
