Commissioner conducts surprise visit to Maryam Nawaz Hospital

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia paid a surprise visit to Maryam Nawaz Hospital at Lal Sohanra and conducted a detailed inspection of various departments.

During the visit, he reviewed medical facilities, cleanliness arrangements, and the services being provided to patients.

The commissioner directed that provision of timely and quality healthcare services must be ensured at all costs. He stressed the need for strict monitoring of medicines availability and staff attendance, making it clear that any negligence in patient care would not be tolerated.

The commissioner also highlighted the importance of promptly addressing patients’ complaints and improving overall service delivery to ensure that the public receives quality healthcare facilities.
