Commissioner expresses displeasure over slow pace of Multan Avenue Project

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan, expressing dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work, directed the concerned officials to expedite construction activities and ensure the timely completion of the Multan Avenue project during a detailed inspection visit on Monday.

During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed the progress and quality of work at various sections of the project and stressed that public welfare development schemes must be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He warned that unnecessary delays would not be tolerated and instructed all relevant departments to enhance coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the project.

Aamir Karim Khan emphasized that maintaining high construction standards was essential for delivering durable infrastructure and strengthening public confidence in development initiatives.

He stated that providing citizens with modern, safe, and efficient transportation facilities remained one of the administration’s top priorities.

The Commissioner observed that the Multan Avenue project would significantly improve the city’s road connectivity network and facilitate smoother traffic flow, thereby contributing to urban development and economic growth in the region.

He further stated that the administration was continuously monitoring the transparency, quality, and pace of development projects to ensure the effective utilization of public resources and the timely delivery of benefits to citizens.

Director Development Mubashir Rehman and Superintending Engineer Highways Ghulam Nabi also accompanied the Commissioner during the inspection.
