Commissioner Larkana imposes 144 surrounding area of Matriculation Examinations Centers across Division

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) The Commissioner of Larkana Division, Dr. Rasheed Mahmood Khan, has imposed Section 144 in areas surrounding examination centers during the 9th and 10th grade examinations-2026 starting from April 7, on the recommendation of the Chairman of the board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education Larkana.

According to the notification, under the powers granted by the Home Department of the Government of Sindh, Section 144 will remain enforced from April 7 to April 15 at examination centers within the division.

During this period, entry of unauthorized persons into examination centers, display of weapons, and opening of photocopy shops in nearby areas will be prohibited in order to prevent cheating and maintain law and order.

During the enforcement of Section 144, the concerned SHOs will have the authority to file written complaints and take legal action against violators under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860.
