Presiding over a high-level meeting of revenue officers, the Commissioner stressed that the decisions should not merely be limited to paperwork but must be fully implemented to provide relief to the public.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioners of the four districts, Additional Commissioner Coordination, Assistant Commissioners, and other relevant officials.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that cases related to land partition and other sensitive matters must be resolved on a priority basis. He further directed that a daily performance review of revenue cases would be conducted after Eid-ul-Fitr, noting that every officer would be held accountable for their output. All district officers were bound to submit daily progress reports to the Commissioner's office.
The commissioner maintained that any delay in public service delivery would not be tolerated, warning that strict departmental action would be initiated against officials found guilty of negligence or lethargy.
