Commissioner orders immediate improvement in cleanliness, facilities at Bhuana THQ hospital

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Commissioner Faisalabad Division Mussarat Jabeen on Saturday visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Bhuana and directed hospital management to immediately improve cleanliness standards and patient care facilities.

During the visit, the commissioner expressed dissatisfaction over the sanitation conditions in hospital wards and reprimanded the Medical Superintendent for the shortcomings. She ordered the immediate washing of wards, corridors, exits and other sections of the hospital, directing that regular cleaning with disinfectants, including phenyl, be ensured to maintain a hygienic environment.

Keeping in view the prevailing hot weather conditions, Mussarat Jabeen also instructed the hospital administration to arrange air-conditioning facilities in the wards without delay.

She reviewed patient care services, inquired from visitors about the availability of medicines and assessed the overall functioning of the healthcare facility.

The commissioner assured that necessary measures would be taken to provide the hospital with the required resources to improve service delivery. Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, Assistant Commissioner Sheena Azam, CEO Health Dr. Saqib Munir and other officials accompanied her during the inspection visit.
