Commissioner reviews road sector schemes across division

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday reviewed progress on ongoing and proposed road sector development schemes across the division.

According to officials,the meeting was briefed on projects prepared under the Annual Development Programme (ADP), along with updates on timelines,funding and execution.

Executive engineers,deputy directors development and other relevant officers from all districts attended the session,while the additional commissioner coordination was also present.

A briefing was also given on the Punjab government’s “Sohna Pind,Sohniyan Rahwan” initiative aimed at improving rural road infrastructure.

The commissioner directed departments to ensure quality and transparency in project execution,stressing timely completion. He added that field visits would be conducted to monitor progress.
