KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Chairman of the Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP), Kaukab Iqbal, has welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to reduce the prices of diesel and petrol, stating that this step will provide significant relief to consumers across the country.

Kaukab Iqbal said that the reduction in petroleum prices should directly impact the prices of daily-use items, transportation fares, and essential commodities so that the common people can receive real relief.
